• 1 package baby carrots
• Water to cover
• 2 Tbsp. Butter
• salt and pepper to taste
• Place carrots in saucepan and add water to cover by 1/2″.
• Bring to a boil over high heat. Lower heat to medium and simmer carrots for 3-6 minutes until tender when pierced with a fork.
• Remove from heat, drain carrots, turn heat off.
• Return carrots to saucepan and add butter. Place on burner with heat off.
• Let butter melt; stir gently to coat carrots.
• Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve.
