Ingredients:
• 2 1/3 cup whipping cream, divided
• 2 cups milk
• 1 Tb spoon powdered gelatin
• 100 g powdered sugar
For Sauce:
• 1/2 lb frozen strawberries
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup water
Directions:
• In a bowl combine gelatin and 1/3 cup cream.
• Let it stand for 15 minutes.
• In a saucepan, add milk, 2 cups cream and powdered sugar over a low heat.
• Add gelatin.
• Stir until the gelatin is dissolved, do not boil.
• Gently pour cream mixture into moulds. Cover and refrigerate for about 6 hours or until set.
Meanwhile, make sauce:
• Put 1/2 cup water, vanilla and sugar in a saucepan.
• Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
• Add strawberries, mix, cover and let the sauce to cool.
Serving:
• Dip the chilled moulds quickly into a small bowl of hot water, invert onto serving plates.
• Pour strawberry sauce over the panna cotta.
