Ingredients:
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 small beet, grated or 3 TB spoons pickled
• 2 teaspoons vinegar
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 100 ml half and half
• 4 egg yolks
• 1 TB spoon capers, finely chopped
• salt, pepper
• 3 TB spoons oil
Directions:
• Saute onion in 1 TB spoon oil for 5 minutes.
• Mix together onion, beets, ground beef, egg yolks, half and half, vinegar, capers, salt and pepper.
• Shape the four large patties and fry them in 2 TB spoons oil over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side.
• Serve with a fried egg on top.
