Ingredients:
• 1 cured herring/trout, bones removed, fillet chopped
• 2 medium sized potatoes, boiled and chopped
• 2 medium sized carrots,boiled and chopped
• 1 big beet, boiled/baked, chopped
• 2-3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 3-4 tablespoons mayo or sour cream

Directions:
• Arrange the salad in a bowl in layers.
• Herring- first layer
• Potatoes-second layer
• Onion – third layer
• Mayonnaise
• Carrots
• Beets
• Eggs
• Mayonnaise
• LEt it sit in a fridge over night.
