Ingredients:
•  1/2 cup sugar
•  1 egg
•  1 stick butter (8 TB spoons), melted
•  1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 cup jam (left over cranberry sauce)

Directions:
• In a medium bowl, cream together egg and sugar.
• Add butter, mix.
• Stir in the baking powder, salt, and flour.
• Divide dough into two (place 1/3 dough into the freezer for 15 minutes).
• Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
• Spread 2/3 of the dough on the cookie sheet.
• Spread the jam over it.
• Grate 1/3 of the dough over the jam.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, cookies should be golden brown.
• Cut into squares while still hot.
