Ingredients:
• 2 quarts of water
• 4 large carrots
• 1 large onion
• 2 stalks celery, including some leaves
• 1 bunch green onions, chopped
• 8 garlic cloves
• 8 sprigs fresh parsley
• 8 sprigs fresh thyme
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tablespoon salt
Directions:
• Put all the ingredients in a big pot.
• Bring to boil.
• Lower heat and simmer, covered for 30 minutes.
• Strain. Discard vegetables.
