Hi, my name is Oksana and I am a foodie.

I started cooking when I was 9. It all started in school and then became a useful skill since my mother’s cooking consists of boil or fry it for 45 minutes and use salt and pepper as the only spices. 

By the time I got married in 2003 I had several notebooks with handwritten recipes. My husband added a notebook with his grandmother’s handwritten recipes to that collection. 

I started this food  blog in 2007 when our son was born. I got tired of looking through notebooks every time I wanted to cook something.

Every recipe here is tasted and approved by my husband and our son. 

We like to travel and when we go somewhere we always come back with new recipes and ingredients.
